When Adventure Meets Celebration: Àradamilola Guides over 50 Tourists to Yemoji Natural Pool to commemorate World Tourism Day, Launches New Travel Brand

The serene and historic Yemoji Natural Pool in Ijebu Ode came alive as Àradamilola led more than 50 tourists to the site in celebration of World Tourism Day 2025.
The colorful event also marked the official launch of the “Tour with Àradamilola” brand, a cultural tourism initiative aimed at showcasing hidden treasures, preserving heritage, and promoting local destinations across Nigeria.
The celebration attracted several dignitaries, community leaders, cultural custodians, and tourism enthusiasts who came together to honor the theme of World Tourism Day and experience the beauty and history of Yemoji.

Among the distinguished guests present were: Otunba Taiwo Adebanjo, Orodundujoye of Oke Ako; Otunba Lapekun Babatunde Ajayi, of Oke Ako; High Chief Mathayas Adesanya, Baale of Odolofa; and High Chief Adigboluja Michael Taiwo Adele, the Baale of Yemoji.
Others include Ambassador Sijuade Olalekan, the Chief Executive Officer of Ijebu Rewa news, Mr Adelani Adesanya, a cultural and creative teacher at Adeola Odutola Secondary Prince Olusegun Osunsami; Professor Olatunji Idowu, a lecturer at the Department of Creative Arts, Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED); Dr. Adekoya Martin, a don at the Oba Sikiru Adetona College of Education, Omu Ijebu and many more notable personalities.
One of the major highlights of the day was the storytelling session, where elders and custodians of the Yemoji Resort shared the rich history and cultural heritage of the Yemoji Natural Pool.
Their narratives offered deep insights into the spiritual, historical, and communal significance of the site, leaving participants enlightened and inspired.
The celebration also featured vibrant cultural displays that showcased Nigeria’s diversity and artistry. The Rhythm of Art Dance Troupe thrilled guests with energetic performances, reflecting the rhythm, beauty, and depth of Nigerian tradition.
“This tour is not just a celebration; it is a call to rediscover our cultural roots and preserve them through tourism. Yemoji represents our shared heritage — a place of peace, story, and history. I am honored to begin this journey here,” said Friday Damilola, the founder.
The Yemoji World Tourism Day celebration emphasized tourism as a tool for cultural preservation, community development, and unity, while the launch of “Tour with Àradamilola” signaled a new chapter for cultural tourism in Nigeria as one rooted in storytelling, creativity, and connection.
